Kamal Raj Guptha R is an Engineering Manager at Jeavio with a wealth of experience in both techno-managerial and architect roles. Kamal has transformed software development teams by implementing agile principles and engineering practices and has interviewed dozens of candidates as a certified OCI Bartender. As a master trainer, Kamal has upskilled engineers on both technical and soft skills through engaging training sessions. He has a passion for coaching, mentoring, and training, which he considers to be his superpower. Kamal has also enjoyed building several tools and automations for various customers and use cases throughout his career, including in the cloud for OCI - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Kamal's past experience includes working as a Senior Principal Consultant - Cloud Automation at OCI for Oracle, where he successfully spearheaded the automation of configuring disaster recovery instances in the cloud. He was awarded the "Outstanding Team Award" for customer service excellence by the Disaster Recovery Team's Senior Director and designed, developed, and delivered automation for LBaaS Healthcheck Reporting & DR LBaaS provisioning using OCI Python SDK. Kamal has also worked as an Automation Manager - Managed Services at Oracle, where he transformed three interdependent teams' performance from being unpredictable to being optimized. Kamal holds an M.S. in Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a B.Sc. in Applied Sciences from VLB JACET. He completed his 12th standard from Vasavi Vidhyalaya M. Hr. Sec School, where he studied Computer Science, Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. Kamal's technical stack includes Senior Software Engineer, SRE, DevOps, infra, Python, Software Engineer, and ETL.
